Dr Mehak Sohail is a dedicated General Practitioner who graduated in 2017 and is a long-term resident of Port Macquarie. After completing her medical degree, she worked with Tasmanian Health for three years, gaining valuable clinical experience across a broad range of specialties before commencing her General Practice registrar training. She has since returned to Port Macquarie and is delighted to be caring for the local community.

As a compassionate Family GP, Dr Sohail enjoys all aspects of general practice and is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care for individuals and families at every stage of life. She believes in building long-term relationships with her patients and focuses on preventative health, chronic disease management, health assessments, immunisations, and personalised care to support lifelong health and wellbeing.

Dr Sohail has special interests in family medicine, chronic disease management, women's health, and dermatology. Her diverse clinical experience enables her to take a holistic approach to healthcare, tailoring treatment plans to each patient's individual needs. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling and spending quality time with her family and friends.
